What type of information do we have

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address.

  • Your child’s name and date of birth.

  • Your IP address and information about pages that you access on our website.

 

How we get the information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You are interested in registering your child into one of our classes.

  • You are interested in applying for a job.

  • You are interested in applying to own and operate a WeeKicks Franchise.

  • You have signed up with your email address to receive a regular newsletter from WeeKicks.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • From social media channels, where you choose to provide us with your contact or other personal information.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

For those who are not awarded a franchise, information is held for 1-year post-decision unless the application is resubmitted.

We make every effort to protect your information and uphold your privacy rights. We stand firmly against profiting from the sale of data to third party companies and therefore do not share nor sell your data. We will only disclose your data if we are required to do so by law (for example, in order to prevent fraud or if we are ordered to do so by a court).

We may share this information with the following third parties, but this sharing is for the exclusive and intended use for which the data was provided:

  • Under RIDDOR, we are responsible for reporting accidents and illnesses in the workplace to the HSE. Their Privacy Policy is here.

 

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored in EEA servers.

The category of information we keep and the period we keep it for is outlined above. After the time of retention has expired, we will dispose of your information by deleting electronic information from our servers or by shredding paper records*.

 

*We strive to operate a paperless business, but on occasion, some forms will be provided in paper format.
